  • Day 0 - Positioning to Kemble

    Today was a positioning flight of 52 miles to Kemble in Gloucestershire ready for the official start tomorrow. Brakes off at Chilbo 1653 routeing north to Grove to clear MATZs and danger areas etc, then turning toward Kemble. Departure was ‘interesting’ due to maximum weight with passenger (not that Bob is anything but small), zero wind and hot hot hot. Once airbourne, the visibility wasn’t exactly great. Took ages climbing to a non-sphincter-twitching height.
