Hi All, Afraid it’s been a long while since we managed to get internet access. Thank goodness for mobile phones and SMS- thanks to Ingrid, Julie, Keith for helping relay our progress. We’re now in Blantyre, Malawi before hopefully crossing in to Mozambique tomorrow. Not quite the route we’d chosen but our chosen port of departure was rejected late yesterday. Blantyre came as a shock as we were hit for en-route navigation fees and the total bill today came to $96, this is more than ten times we’ve paid anywhere else. We were not pleased!!!!!!! Flight this morning was very pleasant with more sightings of elephants, hippos, crocs etc…. The trip is proving quite an adventure even if a little intense at times. All in all we’re having an amazing time and there’s some photos on the site now for you all to look at. This morning was also a novelty in the fact that we had a TAILWIND for part of the flight. The last few weeks we’ve been battling the easterlies…trends tell us that we’ll get Northerlies when we reach the Mozambique coast. here’s hoping, fingers crossed. Jim and John.

My licence came last week. I’ve been flying each of the last three weekends. I might take my first passenger next weekend.

Go on team. You can’t fool me. The same technicians that did the ‘moon landing’ have concocted these pictures. You’re in a pub somewhere in Yorkshire. Yes?
