Since the last diary entry the team have been progressing down the coast of West Australia. We lost a day in Carnarvon due to bad weather but were looked after by Peter & Sandie Jacks so things weren’t all bad. When we finally left Carnarvon, we had a very cold crossing of Shark Bay in a strong headwind which prevented us from reaching Steep Point (our final geographic milestone). We spent the day in Denham after diverting to the local airstrip.=20 The following day we departed in between showers and managed to reach Steep Point although we got wet in the process. We then continued south in improving conditions (though still with a headwind) and 3.5 hours later landed at Kalbarri. After a short break we took off again, arriving at Geraldton just before dusk to catch up with Keith. This morning a 2 hour flight got us to Jurien Bay where we are enjoying the rest of the day off even though its a chilly 25 deg C. We are hoping to reach Perth tomorrow and complete our trip at Bunbury the day after - weather permitting naturally. John, Jim & Keith=

Have you got the nav figured out yet John?
Blue to the Right and Green to the left, that is unless you happen to be turning tightly—-??? OOh too confusing just have a good time we’re keeping the map up to date.
