Only a couple of flying days to report due partly to a visit to Canberra yesterday and high winds today. We left Merimbulla on the 18th and made the short flight to Moruya which was dogged by low cloud and rain. Luckily Moruya turned out to be one of the most pleasant stops so far. The following day we had a relatively uneventful flight to Goulburn - our first inland airfield (elevation 2100ft). Yesterday we took the day off to visit Canberra and were entertained by Paul & Eugene of the Australian Ultralight Federation. It was great to finally meet Paul after all of his help obtaining the necessary permissions for our trip. Whilst there we enjoyed the spectacle of question time from the public gallery in Parliment House. We had hoped to continue our trip today but high winds have prevented this. Hopefully the weather tomorrow will allow us to complete our next leg which will take us to the edge of Sydney. Check again soon - Jim Keith & John

No worries.

Reading the diary it sounds like things are improving. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Keep up the good work!

Sacha

We are very pleased all seems to be going well so far - no snakes yet Jim?
Ingrid - I hope you have a great time whilst out there - no swimming with the jellyfish.
Loads of best wishes and luck to you all for the rest of the trip.

Team,

Good luck with the adventure, you’re well on your way. I hope the rest of the trip goes as well. I’ve made a feature link to your site from webExpeditions.net (www.webexpeditions.net), and I hope it brings in some extra traffic. Keep those journal entries coming!

- Tim

Hey guys.
Haven’t seen a post for a while what’s happening.
If you’re not flying then you should be writing.
Hope all are well
safe landings
Jon

Hope everything is hanging well - a quick question for you John… How does BootP Relay work again? :) Have fun and avoid the con artists (sharks!). Cheers - Amir

John,

I am reading your progress with a barely concealed sense of envy. I am, however, cheered up by the fact that you are just too UGLY to be able to complete the trip successfully…..
