Bunbury and the Leschenault Factory
It’s been an eventful few days. Tuesday saw the container unloaded. All its contents, to everyones relief were in one piece, testimony to the hard work put in on that cold day in December when the container was loaded. The quarantine inspection and the inspection and licensing of the Suzuki went smoothly, and soon we were officially in Oz. The trikes, together with Jim and John went straight down to Bunbury with the star man Brendan Watts. I joined them later to enjoy some of his splendid hospitality. We hope to set off today, but there is a strong wind blowing which could scupper these plans. We’re keeping finger crossed, because we are now eager to make a start. Hope to bring you some flying news soon.

Every good wish from everyone at South West Microlights in Bunbury. It was great to be there at the start of your trek and to be able to fly with you for part of the first leg to Augusta although a 20 knot headwind is not really my idea of fun. See ya in 3 and a half months.
