At 1700 yesterday the 3 of us stood on a cold dark airfield in Hampshire and watched as both planes and the 4WD were driven away loaded into a container. It was the culmination of an extremely long & stressful weekend of hard work and a much, much longer period of preparation. So now, instead of worrying about the shipping deadline, we just have to worry about how well we packed the container. We will find out the answer to that in a months time when we get to Australia. Theres still quite a few things for us to get on with before we leave in January but, at long last, we are on our way !
Thanks to all the people who helped us out and many apologies to all the people who have had to put up with us being so stressed over the last few weeks !
Merry Christmas, John

G’day from sunny Caboolture (Queensland, Australia)
We would like to offer any assistance to you and your crew when passing area which is north of Brisbane. We can help in anyway, i.e. fuel, hangerage, accommodation, cars etc.

Best wishes to Jim, John and Keith from all at Chilbolton Flying Club (that cold dark airfield in Hampshire). A navigational tip - keep turning left until the scenery starts to repeat, then stop. Easy! Not! Have a great trip and a safe return.
