Welcome to the third team entry and my first contribution.
This past week has seen a large piece fall into place, of the jigsaw that makes up the planning of the trip. Last Wednesday Jim, John and I travelled to Rochdale to collect the two new trikes from Mainair.
After visiting the factory to pick up some spares, we travelled down to Barton Aerodrome for our first view of the finished aircraft. They were resplendent with their white pods and two tone blue and white wings. Great credit must go to Mainair who completed both machines in such a short time.
The weather was glorious, with clear blue skies and hardly a breath of wind. It was obvious that both Jim and John were champing at the bit to fly their new aircraft. I had gone up primarily to take some publicity photos, but these would have to wait until a couple of quick circuits had been achieved. When they came back down to ground; physically at least, I bagged a few photos, and before you knew it they were off again. What’s that about boys and toys?
The past week has also seen great strides made in preparation for the ground support effort. More of that at a later date, as I don’t want to tempt fate with departure time rapidly approaching. Thanks to you all for visiting the site and until the next time, Regards Keith

They aren’t going to give up half-way Frank, and if they do I’ll beat them to a pulp!
